Lorenzo Di Maio returns with a new release from his band RUBY, simply titled RUBY II.
Following their debut album RUBY (2023) and the EP RUBY live at Botanique (2025), RUBY II further affirms the band's identity by emphasising fully confident melodies, touches of synth-pop and a concise and accessible musical offering. Through these 10 tracks, RUBY II takes us on a journey through a deliberately hybrid repertoire where jazz blends harmoniously with the diverse influences of the band members.
Still composed of the wonderful Wajdi Riahi (piano/Rhodes), Cédric Raymond (bass Moog and synthesis), and Pierre Hurty (drums), RUBY has become over time a family of curious, eclectic and generous musicians.
