In 2023, Ananta Roosens and Norberto Lobo transformed the ‘De Grote Post’ studio in Ostend into a creative hub, where they experimented with new compositions, ideas, sounds and instruments. The result is an interplay of moods and spontaneous ideas, which took shape during a snowy week in Ostend, near a pristine white beach and an icy sea. The album that emerged was titled ‘Earthlings’. Earthlings could be about the largest or the smallest creatures on this planet. What lives in the sea, in the ground… or in our heads? The studio at De Grote Post in Ostend was brought to life by Sam Serruys, who created an environment in which every movement could be captured. His passion and dedication played a crucial role in bringing this album to fruition. Cluster and De Grote Post have jointly created this opportunity by making the studio available. Christophe Albertijn refined the delicate sound and was also indispensable to the whole project.
