Macondo Trio Jazz Tour Les Lundis d’Hortense

This magical music is the result of a chance meeting between three personalities from very different worlds. It's a meeting of jazz, world music and fusion. It's a proposal for a perfect world where listening and mutual respect are at its heart. It's magical.

Like an insidious, intoxicating, bewitching potion, Macondo's music tends to make you lose track of time and space. It makes your blood boil little by little and slowly goes to your head. Macondo infuses modal and improvised jazz, African rhythms and the popular melodies of childhood. It brings together the different worlds and experiences of each of the musicians. As if by magic, they enrich each other musically and spiritually, giving us a hybrid jazz that's just waiting to be shared. The groove, even the dance, is never far away from a music that is sometimes more interiorised. The combination of epidermal syncopations, nuanced melodies and subterranean pulsations act as soul-revealers. Macondo's jazz is open, accessible and warm, like a proposal of what the world and living together could or should be. A pleasure not to be denied, and a music to be savoured without moderation.
