Le Palais

Since 2012, the Palais has seen all sorts of events come and go in Arlon: private events, fashion shows, ephemeral shops, concerts, exhibitions, a solidarity Christmas market, trade fairs, congresses, conferences, ..... This emblematic building of the town, which has been completely renovated, has become a formidable showcase for the capital in the space of a few years. The development of the city centre is a priority for the College, which has decided to rely on culture as a lever for economic development. And the palace is becoming a formidable tool for developing this dynamic. The city of Arles, which shares many similarities with Arlon and with which the authorities and certain associations have forged links in recent years, is an example of economic renewal based on culture. Their example inspires us. A delegation from Arlon also went there during the Easter holidays as part of a cultural exchange. The Rencontres photographiques d'Arlon were also exported to Arles for a few days. A city which has been offering an annual photography festival since 1970 and which therefore has a certain know-how.
