Miel Vanattenhoven

For many years, Miel Vanattenhoven was jazz producer at the Flemish radio, BRT and later the VRT. He produced a.o. "In de club" (which was on the air from 1989 for 16 years !), and recently, "Neve".

He was since its beginning, in the team which, under the guidance of Elias Gistelinck, organized the famous "Jazz Middelheim" festival in Antwerp (B). He became in 1991 the coordinator of this prestigious festival.

He also was producer of the BRT Radio Jazzorkest.

He died after a short illness (cancer), at the age of 63.
