Double bass player Mark Van Garsse played a.o. with the band Jazz Circle (with saxophonist Filip Venneman, pianist Tars Lootens and drummer Jean-Luc Van Lommel). He plays on the lp "Sundance (1982), with a guest appearance of Toots Thielemans.

He was a.o. a member of the sextet of the pianist Tony Bauwens, with whom he recorded the lp "Ke atas" in 1983.
