Fanny Bériaux is a young Belgian singer with a coloured and warm voice. Born in the world of classical music, she was soon brought into the jazz and soul universe. Today, her voice and her music reflect the influences of Anita O'Day, Madeleine Peyroux, Erikah Badu, Ella Fitzgerald, Cassandra Wilson…

Fanny was born in 1980. She has learned classical music and piano for the first 11 years of her musical training. During these years, she also learned a bit of guitar and inch by inch started to sing. Alone, at first, with a choir, afterwards, and finally decided to take singing lessons.

She was 18 when she entered the professional music world. First, "Le Conservatoire Royal de Liège", where she graduated in a year in classical music. Then, "Le Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles", where she studied jazz with great professors such as Guy Cabay, Arnould Massart, Paolo Radoni, Phil Abraham, Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, ….

In 2005, she graduated from the "Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles" and from the University where she got a Master in Communication. She then began to sing in various vocal projects in Belgium (Jazz, Soul, Folk, Reggae, Traditional and even baroque music!) and started giving singing lessons. She soon met Jarek Frankowski, composer and sound engineer. Together they decided to start the production of her own album.

The album contains 15 original tracks, and mixes the jazz, soul, pop and roots universes. The universe of the album is rather warm and smooth. But don't worry. On stage, Fanny sings with her heart and soul and doesn't hesitate wake up her audience! A unique character, to sum up, and an artist you definitely want to get to know better. We hope you can meet her soon.
