Steven Van Loy

Steven Van Loy studied electric bass at the Koninklijk Vlaams Muziek Conservatorium in Antwerp. He attended classes with Piet Verbiest, Theo De Jong and Benoît Vanderstraeten. He also took part in workshops with Michel Hatzigeorgou, Hein Van De Geyn, David Friedman and Toots Thielemans.

Steven Van Loy has had the opportunity of experimenting with very different styles such as jazz, fusion, funk, pop, Brasilian and Cuban music.

Currently he plays with various groups : 'Electric Miles Project', 'Triolone', '4-Electrics', 'Zoshia' and 'Soulbob'.

He has also played with Philippe Robrecht and Yasmine.
