Alexandre Cavaliere, born in 1985 near Mons (Belgium), is a violinist renowned for his sense of swing and openness to contemporary music. Discovered at a very young age by Didier Lockwood and Babik Reinhardt, he has performed on prestigious international stages such as the Birdland in New York and SF Jazz in San Francisco, and more recently at the Nancy Jazz Pulsation, the Django Reinhardt Festival in Fontainebleau, and Jazz Middelheim as a guest of Philip Catherine. He has collaborated with musicians such as Bireli Lagrène, Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Stochelo Rosenberg, Dorado Schmitt, and Fabrizio Cassol.

Leader of several projects – from his Manouche Moderne quintet to his tribute to Didier Lockwood, as well as his duo with guitarist Adrien Brogna – he is currently preparing a new album with a high-level quartet, further asserting his writing and musical identity. A passionate pedagogue, he shares his experience by teaching jazz violin, notably at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels.
