Els Artois is an experienced singer from Haacht. After the Kunsthumaniora Brussels and a few years at Jazzstudio in Antwerp, you could already notice her in the past with a number of cover groups, her own band Dear Liza, the Voice of Flanders, as a guest singer for the Radio 2 Swing project, or with symphony orchestras and big bands.
In 2016, accompanied by the Jazzisfaction big band, she won the prize for best soloist in the top class of the International Big Band Competition in Amsterdam.
She mainly sings with her own jazz quartet Artois, where she is accompanied by well-known names from the jazz scene. She also sings in the duo formation 'Roes' with a guitarist with whom they manage to make a varied range of pop songs sound like their own.
She has already filled several stages and living rooms with her love for music and always succeeds in creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
