Stan Driesen

Because blood is thicker than water, Stan Driesen (1977) exchanged his candidacy in psychology for music and awarded his education at the Lemmens Institute, after a master's degree in classical piano with the highest distinction, with a second master's degree in jazz piano.

Gifted by musicians such as Marc Erkens, Ewa Korniszewska, Ron Van Rossum, Frank Vaganee, Pierre Vandormael, Dré Pallemaerts, Erwin Vann, Bill Carothers, Stephane Gallant, Phil Woods ... he focused on various projects ranging from groove jazz (with his Hammond trio 'TriOrganics', the trio 'Force For Four' and 'Moon express') to musical renditions of poetry ('Gezelle Gezongen') and many other freelance projects.

As a teacher he is active in the 'Hageland Academy for Music and Word' in Aarschot and Diest, where he also coordinates the jazz-pop-rock department.
