Roberto Boi

Roberto Boi, born in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy), started playing the guitar as a self-taught musician in 1991. After various experiences in rock bands, he approached jazz almost by chance, fascinated by a performance by Marcus Miller and Eric Clapton. In 2009, he graduated from the State Conservatory under the guidance of Maestro Massimo Ferra.

In Brussels he improved his studies with Lorenzo Di Maio.

Roberto recorded a CD with the Lunar Trio project in 2009 and is about to release a new work with a project called Parallel Moons, featuring music composed by him. He has collaborated with many talented musicians such as Peter Waters and Enzo Favata. He currently lives between Brussels (Belgium) and Cagliari (Italy).

With an innate passion for Music, Roberto combines creative improvisation with solid theoretical knowledge and refined technique, creating performances that are both innovative and respectful of tradition. His versatility allows him to navigate various styles, from bebop to contemporary jazz, always maintaining his distinctive imprint.

When not on stage, Roberto dedicates his time to composing new pieces, collaborating with other musicians, and teaching young aspiring guitarists, sharing his passion and knowledge of music.
