Passionate about Modal Jazz as well as traditional music from Central Africa, the Franco-American drummer Egon WOLFSON also turned himself to improvised music and Free-Jazz.

He started playing drums and other percussions at the age of 10, before entering the Conservatory of Montpellier (obtaining his Degree of Musical Studies) then Brussels Conservatory.

Egon has since been part primarily in Belgium with the band Ola Tunji and also plays for the Milano Messengers, TB Project and his duo with Ornella Noulet.

He had the opportunity to play at the Radio France festival, Jazz en Comminges, Citadelic festival in Ghent, and to share the stage with John Dikeman, Aleksandar Skoric, Hanne De Backer.
