He was a member of the band "La Femme Belge", a band which pursued the tradition of Django Reinhardt in a fresh and creative way. He played with numerous bands, such as Jules Fire & the Furious Four with Marie-Anne Standaert, etc...
Based in Ghent, he appeared a.o. at the Djangofollies festival, the Django Festival in Liberchies (B) in 2012.
He died unexpectedly in an accident in Norway, where he fell off a cliff.
