45th edition of the Gouvy Jazz & Blues Festival: Eer aan vrouwelijke muzikanten

Since 1978, the Gouvy International Jazz & Blues Festival has embodied a philosophy all its own. Here, there is no commercial frenzy, no pursuit of profit at any cost, no excessive bidding to attract crowds. The Gouvy Festival prioritises conviviality, musical quality and people.

The 2025 edition will be particularly special as iwill honour women musicians, who will be at the helm of almost all the bands. This is a bold decision, rare in the Belgian festival landscape, and a wonderful way to renew the way we look at jazz and blues.

Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August will be dedicated to jazz, in all its diversity and infectious energy. Sunday 3rd August will give pride of place to blues and rock.

The Gouvy Jazz & Blues Festival is certainly not a festival like any other. It is a human-scale event, timeless and immune to passing fads, where the essential lies elsewhere. A place where you come for the music, but leave with so much more: memories, encounters, smiles.
