
April 30, 2025, make way for themes on Musiq3 Jazz
RTBF's jazz web radio station, "Musiq3 Jazz," features themes for some of its time slots, Monday through Sunday, emphasizing the richness and diversity of jazz from all eras.
To celebrate International Jazz Day on April 30, 2025, "Musiq3 Jazz" continues to innovate by now offering themed slots, from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Monday (10 p.m.-11 p.m.): "Crooner," the most beautiful voices of vocal jazz.
Tuesday (10 p.m.-11 p.m.): "Latin Jazz," a colorful journey from Brazil to Spain, via Cuba, Argentina, and more.
Wednesday (10 p.m.-11 p.m.): "New Releases," an overview of the latest jazz releases.
Thursdays (10 pm-11 pm): "Belgian Jazz," a showcase of the Belgian jazz scene.
Fridays (10 pm-11 pm): "Fusion," the intersection of jazz, rock, world music, funk, electro, and more.
Saturdays (10 pm-11 pm): "Soul Funk," jazz takes on a groove and glamour on Saturday evenings.
Sundays (9 am-11 am): "Standards," jazz classics in their original and modern versions.
In addition to these thematic segments, Musiq3 Jazz also offers two other programs:
Saturdays from 7 pm: Regards Croisés, a jazz icon presents his or her playlist to François De Brigode (the first Saturday of the month and a second broadcast two weeks later).
Sundays from 9 pm: "Musiq3 Jazz Lives," a live album or a concert recording by Musiq3.
