20th anniversary of the ‘Jacques Pelzer Jazz Club’ in Liège

The Jacques Pelzer Jazz Club is a place full of history. It is the former home of the famous Liège jazzman Jacques Pelzer. On the street, there was a pharmacy run by Jacques Pelzer himself; at the back, his home, where concerts with famous musicians were organised. When the musician died in 1994, the place stopped playing jazz. In April 2025, Micheline, his daughter, and Marc Bienfait took over the venue and turned it into a jazz club.

The club is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an exceptional concert given by the musician who opened it: Sal La Rocca.
