West Music Big band feat Chrystel Wautier

No fewer than 20 musicians and a powerhouse vocalist are set to set the Rideau Rouge stage on fire with classic, big-band swing!

Founded in 1969 and honored as a "Royal Society" in 2022, the West Music Club draws its inspiration from legends like Basie, Ellington, and Miller. With several recordings under their belt, the orchestra keeps the vibrant 1930s big band spirit alive while embracing modern sounds. Their mission? Making jazz accessible to everyone, driven by pure, unstoppable swing. While deeply rooted in tradition, the band constantly evolves, opening up to contemporary styles and giving their soloists plenty of room to shine. The lineup for the night:

Part 1: Timeless, classic big-band swing.

Part 2: A vibrant tribute to Marc Moulin’s iconic band, Placebo.
