Renowned for her talent as an improviser, her incredible scat singing, and her naturally rich and clear voice, Dashiell has established herself as one of the most sought-after artists on today’s international jazz scene. The daughter of jazz bassist Carroll Dashiell Jr., born in Washington, D.C., and raised in North Carolina, Dashiell has been singing her whole life. Her deep roots in the American musical tradition are clearly evident in her live performances. Her second album, "Journey in Black", was released in 2023.
