Vanspauwen, Daemen & Finoulst – Tranquil Mind

Double bassist Rob Vanspauwen’s trio brings together three leading figures of Belgian jazz: saxophonist Daniël Daemen and guitarist Tim Finoulst. What binds them is a long-standing musical friendship and a shared love of sound, improvisation and attentive listening.

Their music lies at the crossroads of modern jazz and chamber music: open, lyrical and always seeking beauty in simplicity. Through a repertoire blending original compositions, personal interpretations of timeless pieces and subtle classical influences, they create a musical dialogue that is both intimate and powerful.

Each concert thus becomes a conversation — spontaneous, refined and full of nuance.
