Adinda Hertmans & Peter Hertmans - Living room concert & lunch

Father and daughter Hertmans together on stage!

Adinda Hertmans (24) is a striking new voice on the jazz scene. The Belgian-Dutch jazz singer, songwriter and lyricist lives in Brussels and studied jazz singing at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague for two years. In June 2025, she obtained her master's degree from the Royal Conservatoire in Brussels with “magna cum laude” and received the prestigious Toots Thielemans Jazz Award.

She performs in various musical formations. In addition to her Adinda Hertmans Quartet (with Wajdi Riahi, Daniel Jonkers and Fil Caporali), she is working on new projects such as the Igor Gehenot & Adinda Hertmans Quartet (with Igor Gehenot, Antoine Pierre and Sal La Rocca). And there is more in the pipeline...

Her father, Peter Hertmans, is a well-known figure on the Belgian jazz scene. Self-taught, he has become one of the country's most refined jazz guitarists. He has played on some fifty albums, has won several awards as a composer and is a passionate jazz teacher - he was affiliated with the LUCA School of Arts for more than twenty years. In 2024, he graced our stage once again with the Leuven-based Ataneres Ensemble in Inner Stories, a unique dialogue between classical music and jazz.
