Dexter Goldberg has a predestined name: from his teenage years, he has forged an instinctive, organic, and playful connection with the piano. With his latest album Caliboudja, praised by Choc Jazz Magazine and Indispensable Jazz News, he explores the art of the trio in perpetual metamorphosis.
The Dexter Goldberg Trio is first and foremost the story of an alchemy born on stage, between three musicians united by the same high standards of sound and a shared freedom of play. Around pianist Dexter, a close dialogue is woven with Clément Daldosso on double bass and Philippe Maniez on drums. Together, they form a tight-knit trio, constantly seeking a balance between composition and spontaneity.
From Japan to Canada via Europe, the trio takes the audience on a journey of lively, luminous, and free jazz.
