“Brujos” is an invitation to travel in all its forms, from inner journeys to the reality of an expedition, with the empathetic discovery of new worlds and diverse cultures.
The album title means “sorcerers” in Spanish. Through their deeply inspired interpretation of Vladimir Torres' compositions,
the members of the trio become sorcerers who practice musical magic in order to communicate to the audience a certain idea of trance and spiritual communion.
Compositions that always illustrate an idea, a feeling, or a lived experience, conveying strong sensations, where the double bass plays an organic and cellular role, like a bodily extension of Vladimir Torres.
“Brujos” is a unique jazz album which, through its original compositions and telepathic collective playing, takes us on a journey through different worlds via a range of colors and contrasts that convey exalted feelings.
