REFLETS quartet

Louis Martinez, founder and artistic director of the ‘Jazz à Sète’ festival, with his firm roots in jazz, and Jean-Marc Floury, with his very personal ‘half-jazz/half-blues’ style, have forged solid musical friendships over the past 25 years. It has to be said that despite their stylistic differences, the two guitarists share a sense of improvisation, melody and groove.

During the lock-in, Louis Martinez and Jean-Marc Floury preferred to converse by notes, and they were right to do so!

The result is a soft, silky, sparkling album of fine, precise flights and varied rhythms".

Visiting the Kingdom of Belgium, they do us the immense honour of coming to present their album “Reflets”, accompanied for the occasion by the no less prestigious Sal La Rocca on double bass and Jan de Haas on drums.
