Jazz in de Fwajee - Elias D'hooge Trio met Anaïs Vijgen

The Elias D'hooge Trio consists of true storytellers. The band around pianist Elias D'hooge consistently dives into a dynamic dialogue in which dreams, memories and diverse ideas come together in an overarching story. The trio's music is lyrical, extremely visual and rooted in the rich jazz tradition, without limiting it to that.

Especially for this jazz in the fwajee concert, the trio brings along singer Anaïs Vijgen, who can also be heard on their second album that will be released in spring 2026.

Elias D'hooge also plays with De Snoepfabriek and Équi, you may also know Zjef Van Steenbergen from The Green Mean Machine, and drummer Tom Peeters is part of the Kin Gajo trio. Anaïs Vijgen is one of the twenty-somethings of Klara (2025). She studied jazz at the conservatories of Ghent and Antwerp and has her own quintet Anaïs.

For the occasion, the Fwajee will be transformed into an intimate jazz club and after the concert you can chat with the musicians with a local beer, wine or non-alcoholic alternative in hand.
