Emile Londonien - Brosella Festival

Borderless jazz, timeless groove

Leaders of the new French jazz wave, Emile Londonien blend jazz, broken beat, house, and RnB with bold creativity and dancefloor energy. Born in Strasbourg within the Omezis collective, the trio draws deep inspiration from the UK jazz scene (Yussef Kamaal, The Comet Is Coming) to craft their own hybrid and personal sound.

After gaining the attention of Gilles Peterson, lighting up festivals like Montreux, Sète, and Nancy, and releasing their acclaimed debut album Legacy, the band returns in 2024 with Inwards – a bold second record filled with exciting collaborations: Laurent Bardainne, Jowee Omicil, CHERISE, Kazy Lambist, and Léon Phal. Between tradition and innovation, Emile Londonien continues to shape a modern, free-spirited jazz that speaks to both heart and feet.
