“Les Frelons Bruns” started as “Lionel Beuvens Standards 5tet” during residencies in the Music Village.
The great love and admiration for the music of the prince of darkness Miles Davis is what brings this top 5tet together. They made a selection of some of the most famous tunes in his broad repertoire, standards he played, tunes he composed or stole, from his first be bop tunes until his electric period.
