Sam Gerstmans & Nathalie Loriers

Born in the fertile soil of Hesbigno-Condruz, it was the seed of jazz that grew in our two musicians, Nathalie Loriers and Sam Gerstmans. They first met on stage at the Sounds Jazz Club in Brussels, during a jam session - Sam's first jam at Sounds, in fact. A long time ago. Since then the pair have crossed paths here and there, with Michel Herr, Fabrice Alleman, Barbara Wiernik, in a trio with Tineke Postma, in the BJO, with Bert Joris... It's in the most intimate of formulas that they come together this time. A duo exploring Nathalie's new compositions and a few jazz standards. Lyricism? Swing?
