Philip CATHERINE Piano Trio

The Lasne Music Festival is pleased to invite you to participate in the exceptional concert of its 28th season, which will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 5 pm. You will have the opportunity to hear a wide panorama of the music of the famous jazz guitarist Philip CATHERINE in a piano trio formation, with Bart De Nolf, double bass and Nicola Andrioli, piano! We no longer present Philip CATHERINE, to the impressive musical career that we have seen play alongside legendary artists such as Chet Baker, Stéphane Grappelli, Charlie Mingus, Tom Harrell or Dexter Gordon.... His discography impresses: more than 25 CDs – and more than 50 CDs in association with other musicians! Philip Catherine has performed in the most prestigious concert halls: from the Berlin Philharmonic to Carnegie Hall in New York, from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to the Olympia, at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, and at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. 

However, he does not disdain jazz clubs, which he loves for the intimacy that is created with the public. He will perform his own compositions as well as great jazz standards.
