In 2008, Bart Defoort won the ‘Django d’Or’ from SABAM for the best Belgian Jazz CD. On this opus entitled ‘Sharing Stories on Our Journey’, played among others Ron Van Rossum and Sebastiaan De Krom. With his current band, the four musicians play original compositions as well as personal arrangements of a few pearls unearthed in the Jazz repertoire. The music of this quartet is characterized by a warm sound, creative interaction, and a rhythm that shares a deep love for swing.
