After his adventures with Jambangle, composer and pianist Karel Van Marcke decided to start his new band Chroma.

It's the first time that Van Marcke is working with vocals and his composition style differs a lot from his previous work.
His love for Egberto Gismonte and Hermeto Pascoal are very present in the new pieces he composed for Chroma. The bombastic and electric Jambangle sound are now replaced by a more acoustic approach of the music, but rhythm and long melodies are still the main ingridients of the music.

During may and summer 2006 the band is playing different concerts on fixed locations as preparation of their CD recording autumn 2006.
