Giacomo Lariccia Quintet

The original group with Sabin Todorov, Benjamin Ramos and Jonathan Callens was formed in 2002 and since then has performed many times in Belgium.

In 2004 the group was enriched by the arrival of the tenor saxophonist Nicolas Kummert (winner of the Django d'Or, prize as best new talent).

The live repertoire of the group is also composed of standards and original compositions at the crossroad between tonal and modal music.

Strongly enrooted in the jazz tradition but with a look towards the future, this group has a warm sound and a melodic approach to improvisation.
