With Suzette, Gudrun Roos embarks on a poetic and captivating musical journey. She combines her own lyrics with existing instrumental compositions, creating a delicate universe driven by sublime melodies and a smooth, jazzy voice.

Gudrun's influences can be heard in French chanson, the 1950s, bossa nova, and swing jazz – all reimagined through her own modern and personal vision.

Her refined voice blends perfectly with the subtle playing of her musicians. Together, they form an intimate acoustic quartet where authenticity and spontaneity are at the heart of every performance.

The repertoire includes original compositions as well as rearranged covers of songs by Cesária Évora, Leonard Cohen, Lhasa de Sela, and Michel Fugain – always performed in a fresh and original way.

The lyrics, written in English, French, and Dutch, are mostly penned by Gudrun herself. With "It’s okay", she also reveals her talent as a composer.
