This album documents excerpts from two recording sessions held on cold mornings in March and May 2019 in Brussels, at Monty Studio.
Two condenser microphones were placed in the room, with a dynamic mic pointed at a Twin Reverb amp, capturing the sound of Emiliano Deferrari and Marco Machera improvising on acoustic and jazz guitars, baglama, violin, and found objects from the studio.
No overdubs, no post-production — just a rough mix and a transparent pre-master.
The beauty of the moment, with no predefined musical language to conform to — not against the rules, but beyond them.
