"L’autre et moi" is the first EP by double bassist Jim Monneau as a leader. Through this project, he explores the theme of otherness, which lies at the heart of musical expression and human interaction. Each composition becomes a dialogue, where the double bass paves the way for exchange and connection with the other instruments. Between listening, tension, and complicity, the album captures the richness of encounters, oscillating between introspection and openness to others. A sonic journey where individuality is revealed through the collective.
