Cav Trio
The project is formed by two Italian artists, Daniele Cappucci -
double bass and Marcello Allulli - tenor saxophone.
The music proposed is the result of research and study of their
origins: a 'union of many musical languages, starting from
classicism of Giacomo Puccini, passing through the ancient
folk traditions to the creation of original compositions
. The two artists share a true love for music
through great interplay and a deep search for melody .
The musicians have played with great artists such as Pat Metheny, Charlie
Haden, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Diego Amador, Jorge
Pardo, Fabrizio Bosso, Rita Marcotulli and Maria Pia De Vito. For over
three years they have been playing together all over the world, for major festivals: Java
Jazz Festival, Bali Jazz Festival, Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival in Rome,
Amman Jazz Festival, Alliance Francaise Abu Dhabi ,Alliance Francaise Dubai, Singapore Jazz Festival.
And for IIC: Amman, Jakarta, Delhi, Bombay, Beirut, Lisbon, Strasbourg, Sofia, Kiev, Hong Kong ,Copenhagen.
In April 2016 they recorded their first album entitled "Notturno" released by EvArt, with Israel Varela on drums.
